About Alana
How the power of mindset built a gen z Entrepreneur.
About Alana
7-year-old Dreamer
Ever since Alana was young, her parents instilled her and her siblings with the power of internal strength, greatness, self-confidence, positivity, and self-respect. As a result, Alana not only wanted to know about it, she wanted to spread it, and at 7-years-old released her first song on iTunes, “It Doesn’t Matter”, about loving yourself for everything that you are.
9-year-old Host
After time in the studio with “It Doesn’t Matter”, Alana wanted to take the power of positivity further by co-creating her YouTube talk show, Girls So Positive (GSP), with her mom. Alana would discuss topics of self-esteem including the importance of building the right circle around you, and the influence of decisions & consequences with her peers during the weekly series.
13-year-old Author & Speaker
The influence of the powerful lessons Alana’s parents brought into her life never diminished. At 13, Alana took the teachings of positivity, and conjoined it with the power of self-confidence. With this newfound perspective, mindset, and habits, Alana authored two books, Timeless (book of poetry), and Creating Confidence (Alana’s story with building self-confidence), and became a motivational speaker including addressing audiences from elementary schools to the largest women's business conference in the state of Virginia.
18-year-old Founder & CEO
Five years later, by 18, Alana combined her community driven efforts and entrepreneurial mindset to establish two companies - So Positive LLC, and The SWEY Corporation.
So Positive LLC is the host company of Alana’s Initiative in which she founded her freshman year of high school, the So Positive Initiative (SPI). SPI’s mission is to build self-confidence and positivity within the youth, which is implemented through SPI’s assemblies, programs, and books for elementary school students. To date, SPI has partnered with seven elementary schools through its assemblies and has worked with the community to donate Alana’s most recent book to the 5th grade students of the first SPI school partnership.
The SWEY Corporation, is a consumer product based company which produces SWEY, the natural modern day sports drink made by Gen Z for Gen Z. SWEY (Strong Wise Energetic Youth) was founded four years ago out of Alana’s need to have an option for natural replenishment as a prediabetic athlete when she was 8-years-old. The product is specifically designed for Gen Z Athletes and for the diabetic athlete in mind.
22-year-old Creator of Maxel
At 22, Alana Andrews continues her lifelong mission of maximizing human potential - this time through Maxel, a platform built at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human potential, and the future of innovation.
After years of building companies, communities, and educational initiatives centered around confidence, creativity, and possibility, Alana founded Maxel to explore a fundamental question: how can we utilize AI to advance both innovation and humanity simultaneously? Ensuring the future of AI is built not only with greater intelligence, but with greater humanity. Connecting culture and AI.
At its core, Maxel represents the evolution of Alana’s earliest belief: that the future is shaped by those who have the confidence to imagine it differently. From a 7-year-old sharing a message of self-love to a 22-year-old building communities around the future of artificial intelligence, Alana’s mission remains the same - empowering people to recognize their potential and create meaningful impact at scale.
